Will jobs become obsolete

These vocations will be almost obsolete in five years.

1. Taxi Operators

The typical taxi driver who works for a cab business threatens extinction as ridesharing applications like Uber and Lyft gain popularity.

Running a taxi firm is much more costly than ridesharing, yet traditional taxi services cannot compete with the new transportation model's pricing methods.

2. Tellers in Banks

When was the last time you stepped into a real bank and did business with a bank teller? This long-standing job is being rapidly replaced by automation and artificial intelligence.

Most loans may be completed and deposited simply using your mobile phone, and checks can be deposited straight through your cell phone.

For cash transactions, automated teller machines may gradually undertake more complex duties that were formerly performed by humans.

3. teller machines

There will always be a need for one or two cashiers in a shop for price checks and other routine buying difficulties, but the normal cashier position is under threat.

Self-service checkout machines and the shift to digital currencies are rapidly automating cashier employment.

4. telemarketer

While most of us welcome the prospect of telemarketers disappearing, this does not imply that we will never longer get unwanted phone calls.

Currently, the majority of telemarketing calls are automated and transferred to a human when certain criteria are satisfied.

Those in the telemarketing sector, on the other hand, are actively looking for methods to automate even the present human process.

5. Telecommunicators (except emergency services)

Automation is rapidly replacing dispatchers for common service sector positions such as plumbers, taxi drivers, and other services.

Most of these vocations will most likely be replaced by computers over the next five years. While we anticipate robots will ultimately replace emergency dispatchers, we believe it will take more than five years.

6.Repairers of timepieces

There are two major issues with the watch repair tasks that are still available.

For starters, many individuals are moving to smartwatches that connect to their phones. Smartwatch problems are often too sophisticated for a standard watch repairer, thus these watches must be returned to the manufacturer.

Second, as automation replaces many jobs in the manufacturing business, conventional watches become less expensive as watch maintenance expenses rise.

7. Operators of printing presses

Printed media is a rapidly depleting medium. While periodicals and newspapers continue to be produced in limited volumes, the next five years will see a significant shift to entirely digital material.

Printing press workers will still be necessary for specific required publications, but their total numbers will be almost extinct.

8.Bus Operators

Driverless cars are becoming more widespread, and we are certain that public transit will soon follow. Traditional bus drivers will be phased out in the near future in order to boost efficiency and save government expenditures.

9.Librarians

With the shift to digital media and libraries converting to self-service kiosks, the conventional librarian job is rapidly fading.
