Search Engine Evaluator Responsibilities
Examine a number of online search engines, such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
Create qualitative data and measures to assess the findings' usefulness.
Serve as a subject matter expert for online search, video, and digital search trends.
Assess the relevancy, quality, and utility of search engine results.
Use qualitative data to provide suggestions for improving search engine results.
Depending on the project, work solo or as part of a team to improve search engine rankings.
Present the results of the assessment to the department, along with suggestions and solutions.
'Work on many assessment tasks at the same time.'
Search Engine Evaluator Qualifications
A qualifying exam must be passed.
Experience with search engines is desired, but not needed.
extensive knowledge of search engines and online search
Outstanding research and analytical abilities
proficiency with computer applications and the internet
Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is preferred.
The capacity to successfully multitask and prioritize tasks. The ability to perform well under pressure and fulfill deadlines.
