9 Google Work-at-Home Job Categories

1. Ads Quality Assessor

Search engines, such as Google and Bing, pay people to work from home, analyzing the relevance of online adverts in relation to the terms submitted in the search query. While Google uses a sophisticated algorithm to arrange advertisements with the right keywords, they also use people to double-check that these keywords and ads are relevant.

Ad Raters are not engaged directly by Google, but rather by outsourced organizations like as Appen, Telus International, and Team.ai for Bing. These professions need a high school graduation or GED, knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Gmail, as well as access to a computer, laptop, or smartphone. According to this Glassdoor.com article, Ad Rates may make between $10 and $19 per hour.

One thing to keep in mind regarding these professions is that they are independent contracting work, which means you will be liable for self-employment taxes but will have a flexible schedule.

2. Google AdSense for Bloggers

Okay, so this isn't a Google job, but it is a means for bloggers to earn money by placing Google adverts on their blogs. In fact, when I initially began, I joined for the AdSense program and was able to earn a little more money from it each month. To be eligible for Google AdSense, you must have a domain name and hosting, original and high-quality content, a privacy policy and other required pages, and be at least 18 years old.

If you haven't started your blog yet, don't worry; I've created an easy step-by-step instruction to guide you through the process.

3. AdThrive is a Google Certified Publisher.

Again, not a job per per, but a fantastic chance to earn money via AdThrive, a Google Certified Publisher. I've been with AdThrive since 2015, and they're fantastic! I never imagined I could make a decent living from an ad network, but boy was I wrong. Ad revenue now accounts for around one-third of my blogging income.

AdThrive requires you to apply to the program and complete the following requirements:

100,000 monthly page views mostly from the United States Original, high-quality content

Once authorized, AdThrive will create an ad strategy for your site and position, monitor, and optimize your advertisements to maximize profits.

Of course, AdThrive isn't the only Google Certified Publisher; here's a list of additional Google Certified Publishers.

4. YouTube Video Maker

Google purchased the famous video site YouTube in November 2006 - what a brilliant decision! Today, YouTube is the second most popular website, after only Google. If you like making videos, you may earn a lot of money as a YouTube Video Publisher. You will generate unique video material and post it to YouTube, just as you would with blogging.

To begin earning money from your videos using AdSense, you must complete the following criteria.

Have over 1,000 subscribers

Over 4,000 watch hours in the past year

Follow the YouTube Partner Program regulations.

The great thing about generating money on YouTube is that you don't have to pay anything up front. You may start right away if you have an internet connection and a smartphone with a video camera. YouTube is where stars like Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen got their start!

5. Search Engine Evaluation Tool

Another option to get money working online for Google is to become a Search Engine Evaluator. Similar to the Ad Rater job, you will review search engine results to guarantee that they are relevant and of good quality. These positions are available on Appen, Lionbridge, Telus International, and Team.ai (which works for Bing).

Search Engine Evaluators make an average of $17 per hour as independent contractors, according to this FlexJobs article. You'll need to be acquainted with search engine results, Google products, and be able to surf the web, much like the Ad Rater roles.

6.Google User Experience Survey

Google User Experience Research may be a fun way to earn little incentives if you like Google products and services. Simply join up as a participant, and when studies that fit your profile become available, you'll be notified with an invitation and the incentive to participate. Research studies are done in a variety of settings, including their mobile van, home offices, internet, and even your house! I'd love to know how it goes for you if you try it!

7.Google Opinion Rewards

Downloading the Google Opinion Rewards App is another option to provide feedback on goods and services (available for Android and Apple devices). You get a modest stipend for each survey you complete, which you can exchange for cash through PayPal or Google Play credits.

8. Google Professional Work-at-Home Jobs

Google recruits remote and on-site employees from all around the globe! When searching for these positions on their website, enter your location and click the remote-eligible job box.

These positions often need previous experience and a bachelor's degree or above. With Google owning YouTube, Fitbit, Waymo, and other companies, there are opportunities in almost every profession and vocation.

Sales, software engineers, compliance, digital marketing, business development, human resources, customer service reps, and other positions are available.

The amazing thing about these work-from-home options is that they come with several advantages! Health insurance, paid time off, remote and hybrid work modes, personal development, and more benefits!

9. Obtain Google Certified Consultant status.

If you're familiar with Google Analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), or AdWords, you may become Google Certified in one of these areas and start your own consulting firm from home. If this seems like a fun path to take, this article will explain how to get certified.
