Jobs out in nature

11 of the best outdoor jobs for nature lovers

1. Planter of trees

Tree planting is a rewarding, though at times tough, profession. The days are long and the work is demanding, but few jobs are more gratifying. And if you want to work in the woods, here is the place to be! While tentree does not currently have any tree planting job vacancies, here's how to acquire a natural job in the tree planting industry. Check out our current employment vacancies if you want to work for trees but not necessarily plant them.

2. Environmental Scientist

"Conservation science" is essentially a fancy word for forestry, a nature job that entails caring for the land and natural resources while also safeguarding the environment.

These are the people who advise governments and landowners on the best and most practical uses of land, such as maintaining parks, forests, and other natural areas. They are comparable to, but not the same as, environmental scientists, who are primarily concerned with the study of air, land, water, and soil, as well as how to safeguard the planet from man-made factors such as pollution, fracking, and urbanization. Both of these outdoor vocations enable you to give back to the environment while also assisting your fellow people.

3. geoscientist

If volcanoes, rocks, and the mysteries of the ocean below excite you, geology may be a career for you. Geologists examine the earth's materials, using physics, chemistry, biology, and arithmetic in their work.

Companies pay geologists to identify and investigate mineral reserves, and they often send them internationally — so if you like traveling (as well as rocks and the natural creation of the planet), this may be the job for you.

4. Zoologist/Biologist of Wildlife

Zoology, the study of animals and how they live and interact within their own ecosystems, may be the most beautiful nature vocation.

It's a selfless profession that gets you out in the field (or the zoo!) and helps you appreciate the planet we share with varied, intriguing creatures ranging from insects to elephants.

5.Botanist

Nature's beauty resides not just in its science, but also in its innate art and design. This may be what draws individuals to botany and gardening, or the study and care of plants. Botany is a broad discipline with several career opportunities dealing with plants.

They've been employed in medicine, food, and conservation since the dawn of time. Because botany is such a large area, you may try out several varieties, such as field botany (looking for new plant species) or medical botany (seeking for new plants to heal ailments).

6. Park Ranger

Being a park ranger is probably one of the coolest outdoors occupations around. You get to spend most of your time outside, assisting park visitors, searching for missing hikers, leading tours, and hanging out in some of the world's most magnificent natural parks – surrounded by mountains, protected lakes and streams, and breathtaking landscape.

7.Archaeologist

Archaeology, like Indiana Jones's work, entails solving old world secrets (albeit it may not be as spectacular and dramatic as Indy's movies).

Archaeologists look for clues to humanity's history by excavating ancient land sites that were occupied by humans hundreds and thousands of years ago, typically in distant nations.

8.Landscape Designer

Landscape architects (and certain urban designers) have the opportunity to improve the world by laying out regions in cities to develop parks and maintain some green and natural beauty.

9.Organic Farmer / City Farmer

Farming is an obvious example, yet it also seems to be out of date. However, the organic foods business has developed so rapidly in recent years that an increasing number of organic farmers are taking things into their own hands and working to improve the way food is produced throughout the globe.

If you live in a city, don't worry; you may participate in sustainable urban farms that grow crops on roofs or in designated parks to bring nature into the concrete jungle.

10.Photographer

Travel photographers are some of the most free-spirited artists, moving from location to location in pursuit of the next spectacular sunset, passing picture, or extraordinary moment.

Because photographers want to chronicle the world, staying at home is seldom an option. For them, getting up and leaving the house is always the first sign of a crazy new experience.

11.Reforestation is number eleven.

Finally, corporations and groups such as tentree concentrate on planting trees in locations that may benefit from increased oxygen supply, wood for fuel, and the natural beauty of greenery. Tree planting is the ideal outdoor job!

Reforestation puts you to work in the woods while also preventing floods and other harmful environmental consequences caused by forest removal. A single tree, whether for a town or a single individual, may make a significant impact in making the world a better place.
