How to Get an Interview at Apple
"The interview procedure was typical of a corporation of this size. I'll have three phone screenings (all technical, with the final one being a code excerpt), followed by a full-day on-site interview. We had one-hour interviews every hour (11-5), and we're all quite technical. I was requested to answer several issues (standard algorithm and data structure topics) as well as discuss the numerous projects I worked on in my previous role. The questions required a lot of thought, but I eventually found my way to the answers. Overall, I'd say it was unfortunate since I had prepared by practicing algorithms (searching, sorting, and so on) and brushing up on basic objective-c (I had to teach myself it in the two weeks leading up to the on-site). A good topcoder browse may help you prepare for an interview with this firm." - Interview with a Software Engineer
"The whole procedure was polished and professional." HR representatives were on time and sharp. It was a little nerve-racking interviewing possible supervisors since they appeared to have great "b.s. detecting" abilities. The questions were challenging, primarily including recounting how you performed in the past. Follow-up questions checked the accuracy of your responses. Work ethic, capacity to perform under pressure, ability to travel regularly, and maturity are all highly valued. Two months from recruiting to offer." - Interview with a Global Supply Manager
"A lot of troubleshooting questions, as well as how much you know about Apple devices." Play a role-playing situation in which someone is experiencing problems with their iPhone. What steps would you take to troubleshoot an external monitor?" - Interview with an Apple At Home Advisor
"It was really fast and painless." There was just one on-campus interview and two phone screenings. I received an offer rather fast. They certainly didn't waste any time. I've heard that they normally provide on-sites for full-time positions. This was a co-op project." Interview with a Product Design Engineer
