Cleaner
School cleaners are in charge of maintaining a high level of cleanliness across the school.
What is at stake?
A school cleaner's responsibilities include the following:
Cleaning certain areas of the school grounds
Cleaning floors and vacuuming carpeted areas
Cleaning up uncarpeted areas
Bin emptying and cleaning
Spills should be cleaned up immediately.
Seats, cleaning workstations, and skirting boards
Cleaning toilets and restocking toiletries
Cleaning the windows and doors
Checking cleaning material stock levels
Notifying the caretaker or supervisor of any flaws or risks as soon as possible.
You will need the following skills and experience:
A fair degree of physical fitness
Punctuality, dependability, and trustworthiness
Capable of managing time efficiently Capable of working both alone and in groups Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Reading abilities for instructions
Measurement skills for cleaning fluids
