Jobs about space

What jobs are there to do with space?

If you want to make a name for yourself in the area of space exploration, you're in luck. Space exploration and associated jobs are an ever-expanding field with various possible career specialisations.

Obviously, all of this will need a wide variety of professional competences such as space technology, management, media skills, physical and biological sciences expertise, and so on. As a result, space has become a vast arena in which experts from many fields may work.

Now, let's look at the numerous occupations available if space is your wide field of interest. Here's a starting point:

1. Astronomy: The scientific study of celestial bodies such as galaxies, solar systems, stars, black holes, and planets.

2. Astronauts: These are the folks who get to go to and explore outer space.

3. Space Technology: This category comprises spacecraft, satellites, space stations, support infrastructure, numerous processes, and space warfare.

4. Engineering: While astronauts get the majority of public attention, engineers are the backbone of space exploration. They create spacecraft, launch vehicles, space stations, satellites, and other devices. Aerospace, robotics (imagine Mars rovers! ), computer engineering, material sciences, mechanical and telecom engineering all have enormous potential.

5. Space Research/Academics: People from several areas are involved in space research. Astrophysicists (astronomers who study celestial objects and how they interact with other space bodies), biologists (study how spaceflight affects those living in a spacecraft or the space station), biochemists and biophysicists (study the chemical and physical aspects of all things and their biological actions), geoscientists (study and analyze the physical nature of the Earth), astrobiologists (study life as it exists on Earth to learn about life), astrobiologists

Aside from research, the space industry also teaches. You might, for example, serve as an assistant professor of space physics while concurrently analyzing data from satellites.

6. Space law: It is the body of legislation that governs space-related activities. It consists of a diverse set of agreements, conventions, treaties, and international organization laws.

7. Space Tourist: An increasing number of companies are fighting for a piece of the burgeoning space tourism market. Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Orion, Orion Span (Space Hotel), and Boeing are among the major companies involved in and recruiting in this industry.

8. Space Architecture: The study and practice of planning and building livable places in outer space. There are plans to build space hotels in the near future!

9. Space Medicine/Psychology: This is the medical treatment of astronauts in space. A big part of it is dealing with the physiological changes brought on by weightlessness, as well as psychological concerns.
