We used the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) to locate these low-stress jobs. O*NET is a free, online U.S. Department of Labor database that details approximately 1,000 distinct employment roles.
O*NET provides a stress tolerance score of zero to 100 to each job, indicating how often employees must take criticism and cope with difficult circumstances. Professions with lower scores often need a lower stress tolerance, while jobs with higher scores necessitate a greater stress tolerance. Some of the most demanding and highest-paying positions, according to O*NET, include urologists, anesthesiologist assistants, and nurse anesthetists, who have stress tolerance ratings of 100, 98, and 98, respectively.
Although the occupations on our list aren't fully stress-free, they are among the least stressful high-paying employment available. Most provide a healthy work atmosphere and work-life balance, which might be a welcome change if you are presently working in a high-stress position.
