We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to join our team in a client-facing capacity. This role is not focused on software development or writing production code. Instead, it involves using your technical background to guide clients, understand their requirements, and help shape effective technical solutions.
You will act as the bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment throughout client engagements.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct direct consultations with clients to understand their business and technical needs
- Translate client requirements into clear technical solutions and recommendations
- Advise on system design, architecture, and implementation approaches
- Identify potential risks, constraints, and optimisation opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of proposed solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical background (software engineering, systems architecture, or similar experience)
- Prior experience in a client-facing, consulting, or advisory role is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas simply
- Confidence leading discussions with non-technical and technical stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and recommend practical solutions
- Based in the U.S. or South America
Important Note
This is not a development role. You will not be expected to write production code or contribute as a hands-on engineer. The focus is entirely on consultation, solution design, and client communication.
Compensation & Details
- $40–$60/hour depending on experience
- Full-time, long-term opportunity
