Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop novel in-network security and privacy solutions, considering the constraints of P4 and the underlying hardware.
Conduct extensive experiments and evaluations to assess the performance of the proposed solution and apply optimizations to it if needed.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in network programmability, related standards, and/or industry trends.
Produce technical reports and documentation to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
PhD (or close to completion) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Strong research track record (e.g., publications in top-tier conferences and journals) in network programmability (e.g., SDN, P4-based data plane programming) and network security.
Hands-on expertise in experimenting, measuring, and evaluating networked systems.
Experience with high-speed networking software (specifically Intel® P4 Studio) and/or hardware (specifically Intel's Tofino switches) is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative, international and interdisciplinary environment.
