We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain data in our systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of handling confidential information responsibly. This role is key to keeping our records organized and up to date.
Enter and update data accurately in company databases and systems.
Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all company data.
Prepare, sort, and organize documents before data entry.
Generate reports and perform regular data backups.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40 words per minute preferred).
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and data verification skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of databases and data management systems.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
Previous experience in data entry or clerical work is an advantage.
Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and printers.
Full-time or part-time (specify as needed).
