No. 1: Garbage collectors/waste disposal employees
In a contemporary society, they are the most important employees. 75 percent of us would be dead from illness if it weren't for them carrying out and cleaning up our trash, which is horrible in its quantity.
2.The military . Soldiers, sailors, Marines, airmen/women, Coast Guard personnel, and so on.
The world may be a dangerous place. The monsters must be kept at bay by someone. I don't always agree with why they're asked to sacrifice their life, but I appreciate those that do.
3. Cops/firefighters/EMTs
Anyone whose duty it is to keep the public safe, frequently against our better judgment. Cops aren't popular right now because of certain people's conduct, but the only reason most of us dare to leave our homes after dark is because they're out there keeping the homegrown monsters in their caves.
4.Nurses
It doesn't matter whether it's bedpans or surgical helpers. I've spent enough time in hospitals thanks to my foolish hobbies to know who does all the effort and who really gets me the meds I prefer.
No. 5: Postal employees.
I mentioned them last week, but here's another shout-out to the men and women who make sure we receive our belongings.
