According to newly released information from Indeed, the world's largest employment site, it is now more difficult than it has ever been for British firms to locate appropriate new employees.
The scarcity of personnel is especially noticeable in industries that demand highly trained workers, such as the technology industry in Britain, which is having trouble finding enough individuals with the appropriate skills and expertise despite the high incomes that are being offered.
The position of optometrist has been identified as the one that is the most challenging to fill, with 68.79 percent of openings advertised on Indeed during the course of the previous year being empty for 60 days or more. After sixty days, slightly over fifty percent of solicitor positions were unfilled, whereas just 46.32 percent of surgeon positions were unfilled.
The great majority of these positions that are difficult to fill are in the technology industry, which is a sign of the rise in the technology industry as well as the fact that companies are having to be patient in order to locate staff members who have the specialized abilities they need.
The positions of software engineers (41.8%), software architects (41.78%), front-end developers (40.31%), system engineers (40.24%), software test engineers (39.86%), and full stack developers (39.76%) are also on the list of positions that are difficult to fill. All make an average yearly income of at least £37,500, with the typical software architect being able to earn over twice that much (£70,000).

Entry-level positions are often among those that have the greatest difficulty finding qualified applicants to fill them. In light of the fact that it is already difficult to fill these posts, there is a growing fear among companies that the restrictions that will be placed on the ability of EU residents to find employment in the UK as a result of Brexit would make it much more difficult for British managers to find employees.
