Here is a list of the top ten most unusual careers in the world:

10) Sleeper who makes a living at it:

In order to determine how comfortable their beds are, a hotel in Finland recruited a member of their staff to take on the role of "professional sleeper." This person spends each night of her stay at the hotel on a different bed, and then writes a review about how satisfied she was with each of the beds.

9) Keep an eye on the paint while it dries:

This is not a funny joke at all. Someone genuinely makes a livelihood off of the tedious process of letting paint dry. The position is presently held by a guy in the United Kingdom, and his days include of painting sheets of cardboard, timing how long it takes fresh paint mixtures to dry, and observing any changes in color or texture that may occur.

8) Full-time Netflix viewer:

Imagine being paid to sit around all day and watch television. Now, this once-fanciful idea has become a reality for one very fortunate worker. Netflix has hired someone to view all of their content before it is made available to the general public. This person's job is to review each program and give it the appropriate tag. This allows viewers like you and me to find exactly what we are looking for, whether it's a romantic crime movie based on classic literature or a witty talking-animal TV show.

7: Train Pusher, Number

If you thought the London Underground is horrible, you should see how Japan's public transportation system operates. "Oshiyas" are persons who are recruited to assist pack as many passengers aboard a train as possible by pushing them from the outside until the doors can shut. This is done in order to maximize capacity.

6) Mourner who earns a living doing this:

It is a custom in South East Asia that a noisy funeral would help the deceased in their journey to the hereafter. As a result, professional mourners are recruited to wail and lament loudly throughout the duration of the ceremony in order to fulfill this tradition.

5) Snake Milker:

This is not a task for the faint of heart. Collecting the venom of deadly snakes and storing it in jars so that it may be used in anti-venoms and other types of treatment is the duty of a snake milker. Praise be to God that someone had the guts to do it!

4) Dog food taster:

The function of the dog food tester is to sample new varieties of dog food, such as bones, canned meat, and biscuits, among other things. They do this in order to evaluate the taste and consistency of the product in comparison to other brands of dog food as well as human food. Hmm…tasty?

3) Odor Judge:

In order to determine whether or not new products are beneficial, companies will engage people to act as "odor judges" and sniff the breath, feet, and armpits of volunteers. The members of the staff get their sense of smell checked on a regular basis so that they may be confident that their judgment is correct. For the sake of the judges, let us put our faith in the fact that such items are effective.

2) Marmite Taster:

People often say that you either love something or hate it, and in the case of St. John Skelton, he truly takes his appreciation for whatever it is to a new level. As a member of a team of marmite tasters, he is responsible for ensuring that each batch of marmite has the appropriate flavor, texture, and consistency. In the thirty years that he has been there, he has gone through around three thousand jars of that stuff.

1) Scuba Diving Pizza Delivery Man:

If the fact that there is an underwater hotel in Florida isn't already strange enough for you, let me tell you that they have a scuba diving pizza delivery man who brings them pizza by transporting it through the water in an airtight container. If that doesn't make you question reality, I don't know what will. In what capacity.
