You will be responsible for reporting to the Farm Manager, and you should be able to work well alone for extended periods of time.

It is important to be able to concentrate well and have strong hand-eye coordination if you want to have a successful career as a tractor driver. Tractor drivers that excel in their craft have a keen eye for detail, a strong physical presence, and excellent listening and observational abilities.

The duties of a tractor driver include the following:

Driving tractors and other agricultural equipment, as well as doing routine upkeep and repairs on such vehicles and tools.

Managing the operation of tractors in a responsible and effective manner.

Conducting checks on tractors and their attachments, such as graders, rollers, and plows, and ensuring that they are adequately greased are also part of this task.

Employing tractors to haul goods and to pull or push agricultural machinery is one use of tractors.

In order to prepare the fields, operators use tractors equipped with laser leveling equipment.

Notifying the Farm Manager and any other relevant stakeholders of any problems or concerns that have been identified.

Qualifications Needed to Be a Tractor Driver:
