A sound technician is responsible for determining which sound effects are required for a production and carrying out the activities that are required to generate those sounds.

Job description

They are in charge of the sound effects that are associated with actions and motions in cinema, radio, and television. They use technical equipment to mix, enhance, record, or recreate sound for a production, and they make sure that the sound quality is at its best.
