Signwriter

Signwriters, sometimes known as signmakers, are responsible for the design, construction, and writing of signs. They may also put them on the sides of cars, along roadways, in front of stores and offices, in restaurants, bars, and hotels, and on the front and back of shopfronts.

These days, the vast majority of signs are fabricated by machines after being planned on computers. Traditional hand-painted signs are seeing less and less demand these days.

You may need to provide a portfolio of your previous work.

You may try applying for a modern apprenticeship to see if it gets you in.

In most cases, a valid driver's license is required.

Because you will be lifting hefty signs, you should make sure that you are in good physical shape.

Training
