What are the steps I need to take to become a sailing instructor?

In order to pass the RYA's Pre-entry sailing examination, you need to demonstrate that your individual dinghy sailing competence is up to the required level. This exam requires sailing without a rudder, sailing without a centerboard, retrieving a guy who has fallen overboard, coming alongside another vessel, sailing in tight circles around a stationary object, and navigating a triangle in an efficient manner.

In order to become a Dinghy Instructor, you have two different possibilities. Choose our 6-week program if you have just recently begun participating in the sport.
