HOUSEKEEPING ROOM ATTENDANT

Housekeeping room attendants are responsible for the cleanliness and appropriate presentation of guest rooms as well as public spaces in hotels, motels, resorts, lodges, and inns. In this capacity, they ensure the comfort of hotel patrons. It is necessary for a housekeeping room attendant to be cheerful, polite, and capable of addressing difficulties or special requests in order to convey to visitors a favorable impression of the establishment.


Responsibilities:

Stock and sort supplies

Guests' rooms should be dusted, vacuumed, and polished.

Deliver and collect things that are available for visitors to borrow, such as irons and ironing boards.

Ensure the safety of the guest rooms as well as the visitors' privacy.

As needed, do cleaning tasks on a rotational basis (for example, steam clean the carpets).

Having the necessary knowledge, abilities, and skills:

A certificate of completion from secondary school is desirable.

Mobility and endurance of the body are essential.

Capability to listen to and carry out instructions
